Oasis Bar

The Oasis Café Bar is located right at the heart of Almuñecar, in the same square as the impressive Town Hall building. The plaza is pedestrianised and lined with elegant palm trees so you can sit outside on the sunny terrace at Oasis watching the world go by in calm and tranquil surroundings, there’s rarely a sound of a racing scooter!

Oasis was taken over by Cara and her team just over a month ago and is truly an international place; in Cara’s words, everyone is welcome, not just the foreign residents! Being one of the only places open for breakfast in and around the square Oasis is frequented in the mornings by many on their way to work or those just needing a hearty fill to start their day!

They are in fact open for Breakfast (both full English and Continental available), Lunch and Dinner with an extensive menu that features many popular dishes from back home but also several delights from further a field! There are some great daily specials and tasty vegetarian options as well, all homemade by the experienced chefs. You will always be able to find a dish on the menu at Oasis to suit your appetite with light bites such as baguettes and salads as well as some extremely satisfying mains! The Sunday Roast is also a big hit so come early to get a table!

The atmosphere is always welcoming, light-hearted and fun at Oasis; it’s a great place to come with friends and also to come and make friends! So, next time you’re in Almuñecar take a trip to the Plaza de la Constitución, have a drink and a bite to eat with Cara and the guys at Oasis!
