Vinoleto

Vinoleto opened only 3 months ago and is already enjoying a roaring trade here in Nerja. Located on the final corner of the busy and popular Calle Antonio Millón, Vinoleto is a unique product in the area. Carmen and Irene, a family duo of sisters-in-law have brought a taste of city living to Nerja; serving a contemporary blend of tapas and exclusive boutique wines, they are a far cry from your conventional Spanish bar yet still encompass the friendly, laid back atmosphere that we all came to Spain to enjoy!

Every day Vinoleto have a different tapas as an aperitif served with your first drink and then also a daily special alongside the other 15 tapas on the menu. As most of us know, the nature of “tapasing” means that you can eat as much or as little as you want, and furthermore you can try a large variety of tastes and flavours. Vinoleto suggest a selection of tapas for 2 people on their menu which is a great idea if you are baffled for choice!

When we dined at Vinoleto we wanted to try the whole menu as it all looked fantastic but we decided that we needed an excuse to keep coming back so we chose the skewers of tiger prawns with bacon, montadito (small toasted bread roll) with smoked cod and almond salsa, grilled goats cheese on toast with mango jam, tabouleh and also the sliced pork served over duck mousse; a simply delicious and very affordable gourmet taste experience and ample to feed two for supper.

Irene helped us to choose two different glasses of wine to accompany the selection of tapas ordered, one a fruity aromatic white from Somontano and the other a drier more delicate white from Ampurdan on the Costa Brava - both of which were exclusive to Vinoleto. The red, rose, and cava selection is also superb, including some beautiful Reservas, Tempranillos, Merlots and of course Riojas making Vinoleto an ideal choice of venue for the wine connoisseurs amongst us.
Vinoleto is open from 7pm til late, every day except Wednesday - you would be a fool to pass it by!!
